Rebekah had had enough of sitting around the house and moping. She was alone, again. Her darling brother didn’t even bother to tell her where he was going so it wasn’t as if she could even go and find him. She’d spent the most part of the morning crying, not that she’d ever admit that to anyone…ever. She was far too proud for that to happen. But for the first time in her extremely long life she felt like she was ‘living’, even if she was upset. She felt like the normal teenage girl she never got to be. Margaret had offered for her to come over and chat and she wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to have a proper friend.

She left the house and was at the Gilbert residence in a matter of minutes. She knocked thrice on the door and waited for somebody to answer, hopefully it would be Margaret because she knew if it was either Elena or Jeremy she wouldn’t get in there, no matter if she’d been invited in or not. It didn’t take long before somebody did answer the door and was kind of relieved to find it was Margaret. She didn’t particularly want anybody else to see her looking like this. She knew she had tear tracks streaked down her cheeks but she didn’t really care. She gave the brunette a small smile. “Hello Margaret,” she managed.
